Option 2: DIY & Trade Installation Vettä Taps are designed for straightforward installation. If you or your plumber are fitting the unit, please ensure your kitchen meets the following site requirements.

Pre-Installation Checklist & Requirements
Before you begin, ensure your kitchen is ready for your 4-in-1 or 5-in-1 system.
1. Mains Water Supply
Pressure: Requires between 1.5 Bar and 5 Bar.
Note: If your pressure exceeds 5 Bar, a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) must be used to protect your system.
2. Electrical Requirements
Standard Power: A UK 3-pin 13 Amp grounded outlet is required under the sink.
Chiller Units: If you have selected a Vettä Chiller (5-in-1 systems), you will require two separate sockets.
3. Under-Sink Space Dimensions Ensure your cupboard has sufficient clearance for the following components:
2.4L Boiler: 300mm (H) x 190mm (W) x 190mm (D)
4L Boiler: 300mm (H) x 190mm (W) x 300mm (D)
Chiller Units: 420mm (H) x 250mm (W) x 400mm (D)
Tip: Chiller units require adequate ventilation; a cupboard ventilation grill is recommended. Adequate airflow to vent warm air; failing to provide the recommended 10 cm of free space at the back and an opening in the kitchen cabinet (e.g., 20 × 20 cm) can cause the system to overheat and void the warranty.
4. The Tap Hole
A standard 35mm hole is required for all Vettä models. This is the standard size for most UK kitchen sinks and worktops.
